With a background as an Occupational Therapist, Melissa’s journey began with a deep-seated belief in the professional value of therapists and a conviction that they deserve professional treatment in the workplace.
Frustrated by the limitations of traditional therapy positions, Melissa recognized the need for change. She envisioned a world where therapists could thrive in non-traditional work arrangements, allowing them to balance their professional commitments with their personal lives. Thus, in 1999, Stellar Therapy Services was born.
Driven by a desire to empower therapists and create opportunities for flexibility, Melissa has dedicated herself to building a company that values its employees as invaluable assets. Today, as a mother of three children, Melissa understands firsthand the importance of work-life balance. Alongside her husband, they both embrace non-traditional work hours, ensuring they can actively engage in their children’s lives while making meaningful contributions to the field of therapy.

Yes, Melissa and Holly are related! Sisters-in-law for over 25 years now, and building Stellar together for most of those years, Melissa and Holly say they “share a brain” and that between them, there is always at least one person who knows what to do next!
