Our Virtual Clinic provides the opportunity for your child to receive quality therapy services, all in the convenience of your home!

GETTING STARTED WITH VIRTUAL THERAPY

Complete our online Registration Form below. If you have a recent therapy assessment within the last year, please email a copy to virtualclinic@stellartherapy.com upon completion of the registration packet. Please put your child's name as the subject of the email.

Once your Registration Form is complete we will review your child's information and assign your child to one of our experienced pediatric therapists.

Your assigned therapist will contact you and provide you with a link so that you can select session times that fit your schedule and purchase virtual sessions.

Payment is due at time of booking. We ask that any schedule changes are provided with 24 hours’ notice.

Once you have your sessions scheduled you will simply log on at that time connecting with your therapist and the fun begins!

VIRTUAL THERAPY TIPS FOR PARENTS
Space
Children receiving teletherapy need a quiet space. This is so the therapist and child can hear one another clearly and have fewer distractions. An ideal location would be at home, in a room where there aren’t any other people.
Technology
Needs
Your child will need a device that will allow 2-way communication that uses both audio and video, Examples: ipad, Tablet, Laptop, or Desktop. You may need a webcam if there is not one already installed on the laptop or computer. Your child may find it helpful to use headphones or earbuds to help them focus on the session.
Assistance
During a teletherapy session your child may need assistance at the start and end of the session from a parent or other designated caregiver.
Your child's therapist will let you know how much assistance will be needed after sessions begin.
Privacy
Teletherapy services should NEVER be recorded by the parent OR by the therapist. No Personal Health information is shared while
your child is in a teletherapy visit.
The software that your therapist uses for Teletherapy services will be both HIPAA and FERPA compliant.
Communication
Please try to avoid making changes in the schedule after the sessions are booked. Your child will benefit most from a routine appointment time.
This is an amazing opportunity for you to observe your child's therapy sessions. Please be open to receiving communication and suggestions from your child’s therapist
for ways you can help your child's progress.
